Genital warts in men are just the same with those of the women. It only differs because on the symptoms. A lot of men get genital warts because of engaging to unprotected sex. If one has a direct contact with someone that is infected with the virus, it can also spread to the other person. Male genital warts are caused by human papilloma virus of HPV. It spreads onto the skin and can be spread from one person to another after direct contact. The disease can be transmitted through sexual intercourse. In America alone, there are 20 million people who are infected with the disease.   • The male genital warts look like little grayish spots on the skin. It appears like tiny cauliflower like spots. These are slightly elevated from the skin.
  • The warts appear in clusters. Usually, they are piled together in small regions. These can become larger and wider if proper treatment is not done.
  • Swellings can occur around the penis and scrotum. This is noticed on the first few days of the disease. After that, the clusters will slowly occur.
  • It can also appear on the anus after anal sex.

Treatments

  • Using essential oils is very helpful in treating the problem. Oils that are made from natural herbs are very effective.  Examples of this are tea tree oil and Castro oil. They are both being used for the treatment of warts and other skin infections.
  • Wartrol is a product that is made for curing warts. It can be used for genital warts and other types of warts that are found on the body. It is made from herbal extracts that are useful in killing the virus causing the skin problem.
  • Some use apple cider vinegar in treating the disease. The vinegar has mild enzymes that kill bacteria. It can also destroy the virus that makes up the warts.
  • Topical creams are very useful as well. Most of these are prescribed by doctors. They contain chemicals that will kill the virus.
  • Probably the best treatment would be through surgeries. There are several surgeries being done in order to get rid of the HPV. One of them is through laser treatment. A lot of people like this treatment because it causes little pain.
  • Freezing and burning of the wart is another effective treatment as the virus cannot tolerate extreme temperatures. Cryotherapy or freezing and Electrocautery or burning with electric current is being done.

Now, we can easily know and cure male genital warts once they developed. Just remember that a doctor’s advice should not be taken for granted.
